Beautiful little cafe in the village nice staff and wonderful well priced fair food and nice drink selection I personally recommend for breakfast the Alba's big breakfast and breakfast tea but if you don't like something in the big breakfast they let you switch it out for an extra piece of something that comes with the breakfast
Stumbled upon Cafe Alba and was pleasantly surprised. The coffees were fantastic and the food was hearty with great portion sizes. Waited no longer than five minutes for a table as the staff were attentive and turned the tables round quickly. The staff were really friendly and made sure we were looked after.
Walking along the town centre in Milngavie, we were looking for a place to have coffee and a snack. Saw this little place called Holly Berries. It was a quaint place with quirky decorations that were placed strategically. The chef was the waiter too and very polite and courteous. In for a coffee, ended up having soups and sandwiches. Oh, and the coffee is to die for. Definitely recommend this place. If in Glasgow and you happen to be in Milngavie, give this place a visit. I promise you, you would love it!
Lovely wee local cafe, popped in on Sunday and were lucky enough to get 2 seats. So accommodating when we wanted to add extra scrambled egg to the breakfast and gave me the option of having half black pudding half bacon with my eggs benedict. Food was delicious, the breakfast was HUGE, everything came really quickly as well .. Great wee place!
I had lunch here today with my F husband. It was delicious. I got the haggis steak burger and it was so nice. Haggis was soft and flavoured, not greasy or soggy and the burger was 2 patty's. Chips were lovely as was the sweet chilli sauce, will return here definitely.
A firm favourite with Milngavie locals, this cafe delivers amazing quality and a warm welcome every time. Don’t miss the homemade scones - especially the cheese ones - which are off-the-scale delicious.

Very fairly priced for quality food. It fills up bang on 9am on a satuarday but for good reason. Some nice outdoor seating and friendly staff. It’s fully represents the evolving demographic of milngavie - retired pensioners
